March 8, 2011 | Rochester Business Journal | Rochester, NY – I am honored to be the keynote speaker at this year’s Best of the Web Awards sponsored by the Rochester Business Journal on the topic of “The Strategic Relationship Between Your Website and Social Media.”
Every year the Rochester Business Journal recognizes Rochester’s best business Web sites at the Best of the Web awards breakfast. The awards are given for sites determined to be Rochester’s best by a panel of judges.
All corporate and other business-related Web sites for organizations with headquarters in the nine-county Rochester region are eligible.
RBJ readers can help the judges make their choices by offering nominations for the 14th annual Best of the Web awards. Each nominated site will be evaluated for content, usefulness to businesspeople or for business applications, design quality and whether it will draw repeat visits.
This year’s competition has two new categories: Online Innovation and Best Web Design Firm.
In addition, you can make a nomination for Digital Rochester’s Business Transformation Award, which will be given to a Rochester-area firm that has transformed its business through the Web. Past finalists and winners have demonstrated business success gained by using the Web for strategic growth, harnessing cutting edge technology in website launches, mastering unique Web functionality or by making a significant impact on their organization through the exploration of online technologies.
